Useful Information

During the tourist period all stores and shops in the market of Thassos are open from 8:00 a.m.  to 12:00 midnight and sometimes even later.

The pharmacies in Thassos operate at regular business hours. There is one pharmacy that stays open during the night and the early morning hours.

 Banks, Post offices and all other public services operate Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

For emergencies there is twenty four hour doctor service at the Health center in Prinos. Further more, there are private doctors you can visit if there is a need.

The tab water in Thassos is drinkable. You can drink all you want without any hesitation. If you prefer bottled water you can find it at all supermarkets, restaurants, cafeterias and kiosks.

The electricity in Thassos and all though Greece is 220V. If you want to use your own electrical stuff you must use proper adaptors
